Artisan Biochar
The “Global Artisan C-Sink” carbon sink certification guideline has been valid since December 1, 2023, is the basis for artisanal biochar production, was developed by the Ithaka Institute and is owned by Carbon Standard International.
The geographical scope of the “Global Artisan C-Sink” is limited to low income, lower middle income and upper middle income countries according to the World Bank classification.
Ruhr Lab GmbH has been one of the accredited laboratories since December 12, 2023.
