EBC Biochar

The European Biochar Certificate guidelines have been in force since January 1, 2012 and are the basis for the certification of biochar in Europe and worldwide. The EBC standard contains the guidelines for the sustainable production of biochar, was developed by the Ithaka Institute and is owned by Carbon Standard International.

Ruhr Lab GmbH has been one of the EBC accredited laboratories since 09.2019.
